Compost in May! Earthcycling Workshop

Ready to reduce your household waste and improve your garden at the same time? This engaging Earth-cycling Workshop will introduce you to simple and effective composting methods, including bokashi bins and traditional compost systems.

Facilitated by Robyn from Waste is My Resource, the session will guide participants through the fundamentals of composting at home. You’ll learn how everyday organic materials such as food scraps, leaves and paper can be transformed into valuable compost that enriches soil and supports healthy plant growth.

The workshop includes practical tips, hands-on guidance, and expert advice to help you confidently set up and maintain your own system.

Workshop Highlights:
• Introduction to bokashi bins and compost systems
• Practical advice for successful composting at home
• Waste reduction strategies for households
• Light refreshments provided

City of Kwinana residents are eligible to purchase twin compost bins and receive a $60 rebate upon proof of purchase and residency. Attendance at the workshop is required to access the rebate.

Please bring a reusable cup and/or water bottle to help reduce waste. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be available.
