Think you don’t have enough room to garden? Think again. This interactive workshop will show you how to make the most of even the smallest outdoor areas — from courtyards and patios to balconies and compact backyards.

Led by experienced waste educator Peg Davies, who brings over 17 years of knowledge working with community gardens and sustainability initiatives, the session focuses on practical, low-maintenance and budget-friendly gardening solutions.

You’ll explore creative ways to work with the space you have, learn simple strategies to keep your garden manageable, and gain inspiration from a guided tour of the West Leederville Community Garden.

The workshop includes a take-home plant and container, plus a relaxed cuppa and snack while you connect with other local garden enthusiasts.
