Recycling Facility Tour
Have you ever wondered what happens at a Recycling Facility 

?!



Join us and find out on a tour of the Southern Metropolitan Regional Council (SMRC) Regional Resource Recovery Centre (RRRC) for Global Recycling Day 
!


On the tour you will get to see:




The tour involves spending approximately 30 minutes walking outdoors
on bush paths around the site. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required. Kids (older than 6 years old) are welcome on the tour, they must be registered for own ticket and be accompanied by an adult. Closed footwear is essential for all. We strongly recommend you wear long pants, a hat, sunscreen and bring a water bottle.

Please note: in spring and summer, snakes begin to emerge to bask in the sun and there may be an increase in sightings around the facility. In the unlikely event of a situation, your tour guide is trained in first aid should an emergency arise.
This is a free event 

. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and a light morning tea will be provided at the end of the tour.

This tour is available for WMRC member and participating council residents of Cambridge, Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove, and Subiaco.
